Now, director Jon M. Chu and the powerhouse duo of Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are ready to defy gravity all over again with Wicked: For Good. The film picks up after Elphaba’s (Erivo) explosive confrontation with the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). Branded a witch, she’s now a fugitive fighting from the shadows. Meanwhile, Glinda (Grande) has fully embraced her role as the “Good Witch,” becoming the public face of the Wizard’s regime. But as the trailer reveals, her heart remains with her friend. Can Glinda protect Elphaba from the mounting witch hunt, or will their divided loyalties tear Oz apart?
